Kite on a String

Rough-legged-hawk-hovers

Kite on a string:

A rough-legged hawk, head into the wind, tail dropped, intent on the world below.

“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.”

—Genesis 1:2

  1. I’m always looking to see what kind of hawk is soaring like a kite on its string! Love when I can see the feathers on the legs! Thanks for all you teach about critters and about God.
