    and reminds me of Wisconsin
    this morning in Alaska there’s a cool mist, still snow but it’s slowly easing off the earth, and we’re thinking sunshine and blue skies — maybe today

    1. I can picture the scene outside your windows, Lynne—earth’s relinquishing of winter. If the whole earth is a metaphor, then spring’s arrival must be like taking our first steps into heaven, don’t you think?
