Cheryl, I’ve always loved pine cones and this photo was just what I needed today! Yesterday we had to make the diffiucult decision to choose a burial site at the Loveland Cemetary. The girls and Darren were with me. The one we found was so lovely with large old pine trees, a slice of mountain views to the West and even a pretty view of one of our lakes. When Darren and I stood in the places where the headstone will be there were two pine cones just like the ones from your photo. We each picked one up and will hold on to them with the HOPE of Jeremiah 29:11. The LORD knows our days and HE is greater than any cancer diagnosis! Love you much friend, Lara
Oh, Lara. I cried as I imagined myself with you there today, seeing that beautiful setting, where your dear ones can gather until they join you in that even more glorious place. I am praying I can come see you once this stay-home order lifts.
