Mud Music

At last, the frogs are singing. Awakened from winter’s mud, every year they remind me that Light shines again. Darkness flees. Hope and Life prevail.

All in God’s trustworthy seasons.

Through the lens: HOPE. See it? Maybe hear it, too?

“Daniel then said . . . “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food…”

—Daniel 1:11-13

Above the fray.

(Mt. Rainier)

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

—Isaiah 55:9

From Above.

“And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.”

—Isaiah 11:2

Oh, Sedona!

“Behold I do new things, and now they shall spring forth, verily you shall know them: I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

—Isaiah 43:19

Sedona last week for our nephew’s wedding…and a good long hike.

So grateful for the joy and beauty and peace there . . . as we pray for our world. 🙏

Patience with a beak.

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

—Jeremiah 29:13
